How do we Capture the Story of the Oasis of Mara?

Join us as JTNP Ranger, Ian Chadwick, takes you on a walking tour of the Oasis of Mara. Beginning at 29 Palms Art Gallery, participants will hear how art has served as a medium to tell a story about years past at the Oasis of Mara. Photographs, lithographs and even fine art depict how the Oasis of Mara has changed through history. The tour begins on the patio at the Gallery with a presentation of 3 artworks “of or inspired by” Joshua Tree National Park that were juried into previous JTNP Art Expositions.
